OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) - An
Oklahoma teenager who was shot while walking to the bus is heading home
after spending more than six weeks in the hospital.
Bronson Quickle is
paralyzed from the waist down after the May 8 shooting. The 17-year-old
has been hospitalized since the shooting and has undergone several
surgeries.
Oklahoma City television station KOCO reports that Quickle is being released Friday from the hospital.
Oklahoma City police say a gunman shot Quickle in the chest and beat another teenager with a gun.
Quickle's mother, Tami
Jackson, says she grateful that her son is still alive but angry that no
one has been arrested yet for the shooting.
