Oklahoma State men's basketball going to Spain

STILLWATER, Okla. (AP) - The Oklahoma State's men's basketball squad will head to Spain for a 10-day basketball tour later this summer.

Coach Travis Ford says the Cowboys will play five games against international competition in preparation for the 2012-2013 season.

The team will leave Aug. 8 for Barcelona, where the Cowboys will meet the Dutch U20 National team on Aug. 10 and CB Cornella, a professional basketball team, on Aug. 11. The Cowboys will wrap up their stay in Barcelona with a second game against the Dutch U20 team the next day.

Oklahoma State will then travel to Grand Canary Island, where it will take on alumni of the Canarias Basketball Academy on Aug. 15.

The Cowboys will play the Canary Islands Select team on Aug. 17 and return home on Aug. 18.
