FORT SILL, Okla_Fort Sill will show their appreciation for military members and their families this weekend.
The Post's Military Appreciation Day is Saturday at Lake Elmer Thomas Park Recreation Area (LETRA). Starting at 10, military families can take advantage of free water activities as well as lunch at 11.
A couple hours later, Fort Sill will host its annual baseball game. It's a trip back in time as local Kiowa, Comanche and Apache tribes take on some Fort Sill soldiers in a game played like it was more than 100 years ago.
It's on the Old Post Quadrangle. The public is welcome to watch the game for free. It starts at 1 tomorrow afternoon.
