OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) - U.S. Rep. Tom Cole is hosting a series of town hall meetings across Oklahoma's 4th Congressional District.

The Moore Republican announced Friday that he will host the meetings in several central and southern Oklahoma communities beginning next week.

The first meeting will be Tuesday in Noble, followed by two events next Thursday in Sulphur and Marietta.

The final town hall events will be Aug. 20, in Elgin and Aug. 22 in Newcastle.

Cole is seeking a sixth term for the 4th District seat he's held since 2002. He is being challenged by Democrat Donna Bebo of Fletcher and independent R.J. Harris of Norman.
