LAWTON, Okla_Three people were sent to the hospital after a late morning
accident near the intersection of 67th and Gore. It happened just
after 11 Tuesday morning.
Officials told us a truck hauling a trailer was attempting
to make a right turn into a building complex but was blocked by a second
vehicle exiting the complex. The truck driver waved the car through but the car
pulled out into traffic without being able to see what was coming. That vehicle
hit another white car.
Firefighters had to use the Jaws of Life to extract at least
one person involved in the accident. Three people were sent to the hospital due
to the accident. There is no word on the severity of their injuries at this
time.
Multiple lanes of traffic were closed down while firefighters worked the accident.
