Lawton- Police say an overnight motorcycle crash claimed a man's life in Lawton. It happened a little before 1:30 Friday morning at I-44 and Gore Boulevard.
Detectives and accident reconstructionists are investigating, but they believe the man was driving north on I-44 when he went off the road at the Gore exit. He continued north, crossed Gore Boulevard and crashed next to the northbound I-44 on-ramp. Officers say the man was wearing a helmet, but later died from injuries he received in the wreck at the hospital.
