Guymon Police chase ends in tazing

Guymon, OK - A lengthy police chase ends in the tazing and arrest of a Guymon man.

The pursuit began around 2:00am August 18th when a Guymon Police Officer tried to stop 28-year old Victor Manuel Martinez for reckless driving.

Martinez then led police on a high speed chase , and later jumped from his moving vehicle and fled on foot.

The officer activated his taser to apprehend Martinez as he was trying to crawl under a barb wire fence.

He is being held in the Texas County Jail with multiple charges
