OSBI asking for help identifying cold case

Posted: Updated:

OKLAHOMA CITY_The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation is asking for the public's help in identifying a 10 year old cold case. In 2002 the Johnston County Sheriff's office found a skull and requested the OSBI's assistance but at the time no cause of death was ever determined. The OSBI said no missing persons reports were ever filed near the area and the few leads that came in failed to provide any useful information.

Recently, an employee at the Oklahoma State Medical Examiner's office looked at the case again. They then asked an OSBI forensic artist to reconstruct the face that went with the skull. Experts determined the skull belonged to a middle aged Hispanic male with a slight build,
