Late touchdown leads MacArthur to win over Eisenhower

MacArthur will open district play with a 2-1 record. The Highlanders rallied in the final minute to beat Eisenhower Friday 20-17.

Both teams traded touchdowns in the opening minutes of the game. MacArthur would take a 13-7 lead later in the 1st quarter thanks to a Ricky McCarty's 13 yard td pass to Gary McKnight.

Eisenhower would control the 2nd quarter. Mealique Solorzano's interception and return would lead to a Brandon Schmit field goal. The Eagles would close out the first half scoring with a 58 yard scoring strike from Bently Bross to Ricky Alexander.

Ike would hold on to that 17-13 lead until the final minute of the game when the Highlanders connected on a long, go-ahead touchdown pass. The Eagles fall to 1-2. They'll travel to Yukon next week. MacArthur will host Del City Thursday.
