Posted: Updated:

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) - Gov. Mary Fallin has advised that her Twitter account has been hacked.

The governor posted a message Thursday night advising readers of the hack and asking them to disregard several earlier tweets.

The unauthorized messages have since been deleted. Reports say some unusual photos were sent under Fallin's name, along with a quotation from Dr. Seuss.

It isn't known who was behind the hack.
