LAWTON, Okla_After facing three tough opponents to open the season MacArthur kicked off district play last night. Up first for the Highlanders, potentially their stiffest competition for the district crown, Del City.

The Eagles made the move from 6A to 5A this season and the experience of the larger class showed as Del City would dominate the fourth quarter with 20 unanswered points. They beat MacArthur 41-18. The Highlanders will travel to Southeast next week.
