2 people plead guilty to meth charges on tribal land

Oklahoma City- Two Comanche County residents are awaiting sentencing after pleading guilty to federal methamphetamine charges.
The U.S. Attorney's office says 35-year-old John Peter McDonald of Elgin faces up to 40-years in prison and a five-million dollar fine for manufacturing meth on tribal land in Comanche County. 29-year-old Verna Mihecoby is looking at 20-years behind bars for maintaining a premise for meth production.
A judge will decide their fate in the next few months.
