Lawton- Gun violence claimed another life in Lawton Thursday morning after police say a man was shot and killed overnight. It marks the city's 3rd homicide in less than a week.
Officers were called to a home in the 2400 block of SW J Avenue a little before 2 a.m. When they got there, they say they found a man shot to death outside the residence. So far, police have not released the man's name or any circumstances surrounding the shooting.
Detectives were called in to help officers look for potential witnesses and to develop leads in the city's 11th homicide of the year.
