Share the Road members remember fellow bicyclist

Today members of the Share the Road organization lent a helping hand while honoring a friend.

Dozens of people came to volunteer at the High Plains Food Bank Garden, the majority of the food produced there goes directly to the Kids Cafe, which is an after-school feeding program.

The garden is a special place for those involved with Share the Road, it's a way for them to remember bicycle rider Cindy Whitney, who was killed two years ago by a distracted driver in Canyon.

In the garden, volunteers help plant seeds and harvest food.
