OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -
Oklahoma City police and school officials say an 8th-grader has been
stabbed in the lip by another student at a middle school
Police say a 14-year-old
boy was stabbed by a 13-year-old boy at Roosevelt Middle School in
southwest Oklahoma City about 1:10 p.m. Tuesday.
Police say a school resource officer witnessed the attack and immediately intervened.
Police say the injured
student was released to his parents and that the 13-year-old was
arrested on counts of assault and battery with a deadly weapon and
carrying a weapon onto school grounds. Police say the boy is being held
in a juvenile detention facility.
