12-year-old shot in foot at OKC apartments

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) - Police say a 12-year-old is recovering after being shot in the foot at an apartment complex in northwest Oklahoma City.

Police say the shooting happened Wednesday at the complex on Lyrewood Lane.

Oklahoma City television station KWTV reports that the boy's injury is not life-threatening. A neighbor tells the TV station that several adults got into an argument and the boy was accidentally struck by gunfire that rang out.

Police have no released any information about a suspect.
