The Lawton Police Department has asked the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation to help investigate an officer-involved fatal vehicle crash.

Officers ended the chase when they lost sight of him, but a few minutes later another officer spotted the suspect's car. He began a second pursuit.

The chase ended at the intersection of N.W. 70th Street and Kingsbury around 3 a.m. The officer called for medical personnel, who pronounced the suspect dead at the scene. The man's name has not been released. The name of the police officer involved also has not been released.

Police are not releasing any more details. OSBI agents are now investigating to determine exactly what happened.
