Police searching for man who robbed Family Dollar

AMARILLO, TX- Police continue searching for a man who robbed a Family Dollars store Friday night.

Shortly after 9 p.m., police say a white male entered the store at 420 W. Amarillo Blvd. and demanded cash.

After stealing money from the register, the man ran north on Jackson Street before heading west on Northwest Ninth Avenue.

He's described as standing about 5 feet, 5 inches and weighing approximately 200 pounds.

Anyone with information is asked to call Amarillo Police at 378-3038.
