Man pleads guilty for threatening coworker

Amarillo, Texas - A man accused of threatening his coworkers pleads guilty in Federal court Tuesday afternoon. 

The United States Attorney's Office says 38 year old Peter J. Madrid III pleaded guilty to one count of Making a Threat Against a Federal Employee.
  
In June and July of 2012, investigators allege that Madrid threatened a coworker at the Bureau of Land Management office in Amarillo.

If convicted, he could face up to one year in prison and a $100,000 fine.
