Angie Winn

Join Angie on the  "The Early Show" at NewsChannel 10.

She began calling Amarillo home for her and her three boys in October of 2007 when her TV career launched at KVII as Angie Battin, popular morning show host of Daybreak. Angie also produced and anchored the Midday newscast. However, it was during the evening news that her medical feature, "The Power of One" became so popular. As an advocate for the Susan G. Komen Foundation, alongside BSA, Angie helped promote breast cancer awareness throughout the panhandle.

Angie has also been a "Hero" for the American Red Cross Heroes Campaign, fundraiser for the March of Dimes and along with her husband, enjoys investing time in the youth of Amarillo through FCA.

Yes, you heard us correctly......her husband! On June 1st of 2012, she got to marry her hometown sweetheart and fellow Red Raider, Rocky Winn. After 23 years of coaching, 5 of those with AISD, he now has 3 boys of his own and Angie inherited a daughter! You can most likely see them out at one sporting event or another with their 4 children, but you'll ALWAYS see them with their GUNS UP!!

Growing up near Lubbock, in the small town of Sundown, Angie majored in Broadcast Journalism at Texas Tech University following her studies at South Plains College in Levelland, Texas.

Not only is Angie excited to be Mrs. Winn, but she is excited about being part of the Early Show team!
