The Commander General of Training and Doctrine for the U.S. Army was in Fort Sill, Monday.
General Robert Cone spoke to a group of Lawton and Fort Sill leaders about the direction he feels the Army, and Fort Sill, will be going in the future.
"It's about basic leadership," he said at a reception, "it's about training, it's about discipline. That's why I'm here today."
General Cone also spoke about how incorporating modern technology has allowed Fort Sill to train recruits easier and better, and even allowed them to save money on training.
