Comanche County elected a new Commissioner on Tuesday. Democrat Johnny Owens took home the win with 52% of the votes over Republican Bill Shoemate and Independent Dwight Tanner.

The State Senate District 31 seat went to Republican Don Barrington. He had around 67% of the votes over his opponent, Democrat Tony Terrill.

In the race for Comanche County Sheriff, Democrat Kenny Stradley was running for re-election against Republican Dell Galloway and Stradley came out on top in that race with 81% of the votes.
