Random attack sends Lawton man to hospital

LAWTON, Okla_A man was stabbed in broad daylight in the parking lot of an apartment complex in Lawton.

The victim told police he was on his way home to the Avondale Apartments at 52nd and Rogers Lane Friday morning around 9. He said a car was behind him and when he pulled in to the parking lot, the driver pulled in behind him and yelled at him. He said the man got out and swung at him then kicked him in the head and stabbed him the stomach.

The injured man said it was random attack, and had no idea who the man was. He did go to the hospital but he has since been released.

Police are investigating but, so far, no arrests.
