Fire Investigators Suspect Arson In Trailer Fire

Posted: Updated:

Lawton, Okla._

The Lawton Fire Marshal's office is investigating a suspicious fire at a vacant trailer in Northeast Lawton.

Investigators responded to a call just before four o'clock Sunday afternoon about smoke coming from a vacant trailer at the Sherwood Village Trailer Park on Flowermound.

Once inside the trailer, investigators found a barbeque grill that was still smoking.

The fire inside the home had already died down when firefighters arrived.

Fortunately, the fire did not spread beyond the grill and nothing was damaged inside of the home.
