Posted: Updated:

JACKSON COUNTY, Okla_A single car rollover in Jackson County Tuesday morning sent the driver to the hospital.

The accident happened just before 7:30, about a mile north of Highway 283, on a county road not far from the Altus and Blair border.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol said the man was going too fast when he ran off the road. When he tried to get back on, he lost control of the van and it rolled several times before coming to end in a ditch on the side of the road.

Authorities say he was taken to Jackson County Memorial Hospital with minor cuts and bruises to his head but has since been released.
