Lawton looking to fill vacant superintendent spot

LAWTON, Okla_The City of Lawton's Parks and Grounds superintendent has resigned. Gerald Catlett had been in that position since 2006.

Human Resources Director Jim Russell said Catlett resigned October 26th following an investigation. However, Russell said Catlett's resignation was not directly related to the investigation.

The city's investigation showed Catlett had used his city credit card for personal use in the amount of $124. He's been ordered to pay back money he spent. 

There will be no criminal action against Catlett. The city has not filled the position yet.
