LAWTON, Okla_A minor traffic
violation led to the arrest of two men, one of which is a suspect in a July
shooting.
In July we
reported on a disagreement between two men, Trayvon Cooper and Kevin Pearce. The
disagreement resulted in a shootout.
Pearce was shot
in the leg and then arrested for possession of a firearm after a felony arrest.
Thursday, according to police, Cooper and another man, Christopher Porter, were
driving on East Gore near 45th when a gang unit noticed them violate a traffic
law.
After the two
were pulled over, police found Cooper in possession of one firearm, which had
been reported stolen, and Porter had two more.
Both men had warrants out for previous complaints and were arrested.
