Wal-Mart employees arrested for embezzlement

LAWTON, Okla_Four Lawton Wal-Mart employees have admitted to embezzling thousand of dollars worth of merchandise from the store.

According to police, Belinda McCray, Cherish Sanford, Kiela Smith and Dryeshia Harper worked as cashiers at the Sheridan Road store.

Police say they pretended to scan merchandise for their friends but actually gave them the items for free. Investigators say most of the items were food and clothing worth thousands of dollars.

They were booked on embezzlement complaints in the city jail.
