Altus man arrested after failed robbery attempt

ALTUS, Okla_A would-be robber's attempt to rob an Altus pharmacy ended badly for him after he walked away with nothing and then was arrested.

Altus police arrested 36 year old Timmy Ellis Monday afternoon shortly after he allegedly walked up to the Wal-Mart pharmacy's pickup window and demanded money from an employee.

The employee told police Ellis ran away after other workers were alerted. Moments later, police found Ellis in the store's parking lot where he was arrested.
