LAWTON, Okla_ A 77-year-old man involved in a deadly crash in southwest Lawton yesterday has been arrested.
Lawton Police said Kenneth Porter is being held for negligent homicide following the crash that killed 26-year-old Jennifer Gadberry at 52nd Street and Malcolm Road.
Police said Porter was driving east through an open field when he crossed 52nd street and slammed into Gadberry's car, causing both vehicles to roll.
Gadberry died at a hospital where Porter was treated for minor injuries and later released into police custody.
Police have not said why Porter was in the field to begin with or how fast he was going.
