Francel resigns from top position at United Way

Press Release:

The United Way of Amarillo and Canyon announced today that its board of directors accepted the resignation of Frankie Francel, executive director.

Francel's departure follows an extended personal leave, and out of respect for her privacy, the Board will not provide any additional details.

"We're thankful for Frankie and all her contributions throughout the years, and we wish her the best in the future," said Riley Hill, board president.

The board of directors has appointed Jeff Gulde, who has served as United Way's finance director for the past five years, to the position of interim executive director until a replacement is named.
