Posted: Updated:

Pampa, TX - In an update to a story we brought you last week, the Texas Rangers have completed their investigation of a fatal officer-involved shooting in Pampa.

On Wednesday, November 29th, Pampa Police responded to a 911 domestic disturbance call in the 2100 block of Hobart Street.

According to the Texas Rangers' initial investigation, 45 year-old David Scott of Pampa pointed a handgun at the responding officers, who then shot and killed Scott.

Both officers were placed on temporary leave pending the investigation, and both are now back on duty in an administrative capacity, all of which is standard procedure.

The Rangers have submitted their case to the District Attorney's office, and it is expected to go before a jury on December 12th.

We will continue to follow this story and bring you any further updates.
