AMARILLO, TX - Amarillo Police are searching for a suspect after a convenience store was robbed Monday afternoon.
The robbery happened at the Toot 'N Totum store at 2615 South Grand Avenue just after one p.m.
The store cashier told Amarillo police that a female in a dark colored coat walked up to the register, opened her coat revealing what looked like a shotgun with a pistol grip and demanded cash.
The clerk gave the suspect cash from both registers and the suspect walked out of the store.
The suspect is described as a female in her 20's or 30's, five foot, five inches tall, with a medium build. She was wearing a pink knit hat, sunglasses, and a dark colored coat with a lighter colored design on the shoulder.
No one was injured during the robbery.
