UPDATE: Lawton police identify 2 killed in SUV accident

LAWTON Okla_ We now know the names of the two people killed in that late-night accident in Lawton.

Police said they are Kanisha Brown, 21, and Joseph Carpenter, 27. They said Brown was driving southbound on 7th street at about 10:30 PM when she lost control of her SUV and hit an electrical pole. Carpenter was a passenger.

The SUV rolled several times ending up on "A" avenue.

Both Brown and Carpenter were pronounced dead at the scene.
