Fire kills Oklahoma man in Electra, TX

Electra, TX- An Oklahoma man is dead following a camper fire in north Texas. An Electra police officer spotted flames coming from the camper early Tuesday morning.

Two good Samaritans were already trying to break in to see if anybody was inside. When they got the door open, they found a man's body. Investigators have not released his name, but they say he moved to Electra in October from Boswell, Oklahoma. His body was sent to the medical examiner to determine the cause of death.

Meanwhile, fire investigators are still working to determine how the blaze started.

    Lawton Police officers responded to a 3-vehicle accident involving a maroon Ford F250, a blue GMC Sierra, and a black Chrysler 300 at SE 45th and Lee Blvd around 9:15 a.m. According to police, the GMC Sierra rear-ended the Ford F250 as it yielded for an oncoming ambulance. The black Chrysler hit the GMC Sierra as it lost control after hitting the Ford F250. The driver of the GMC was transported to the hospital after becoming trapped inside his vehicle.
