Vacant house destroyed by fire southeast of Lawton

Fire investigators are trying to determine what started a fire that destroyed a house southeast of Lawton overnight.

It happened on SE Cortez, which is just off 75th St. between Bishop and Coombs Rds. A neighbor reported seeing flames around three this morning. The house was destroyed.

According to scanner traffic, no one was living in the house and they say there was no power or heat source on.
