Undated_In light of the school shooting in Connecticut, and the ensuing concern by parents on how to help their own children understand and process the emotions that come with it, the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration has prepared a guide with advice on how to handle the subject.
Experts say that for young children trauma witnessed, even through newscasts, is trauma experienced.
