LAWTON Okla_ A semi collided with an SUV in Lawton sending five people to the hospital.
It happened around 3:00 PM Friday. Witnesses say the semi was trying to turn onto Gore Boulevard from Southeast 6th Street when it hit the SUV, which was traveling east on Gore. The two vehicles were so fused together responders needed two wreckers to separate them.
Witnesses say four children and one adult were injured in the accident. They have been taken to the hospital.
The driver of the semi was not injured. We will keep you updated.
