LAWTON Okla_ Lawton police say the man who came roaring out of a field the end of November and killed a woman driving on the road had suffered a seizure just before the accident.
Police said that's why he was in the field. Lawton police say 77-year-old Kenneth Porter became ill and ran off the roadway near Southwest 52nd Street and Malcom Road on November 29th. They said he then hit a couple of trees before swerving back onto the road. That's when he hit and killed 26-year-old Jennifer Gadberry of California.
Police arrested Porter, who's from Colorado, on a charge of reckless driving.
