Burkburnett student arrested for terror threat

Posted: Updated:

Burkburnett, TX_A 17-year old student was arrested after being accused of threatening to shoot students at the high school Friday who didn't sign a so-called "white list".

Police said a caller told them she'd seen him on Facebook discussing shooting people at school.
When officers went to the student's house to question him about the posts, he said he was just making a joke.  But, police say he also changed his profile picture on Gacebook to one of him holding a tactical-type shotgun.

He was arrested for making a terroristic threat.
