Lawton,Okla._Lawton firefighters are making the list and checking it twice, as they shop for 600 children in need. It's all thanks to donations from the community.
"It's Christmas time you know. Nobody wants to see a kid go without during this time, so we just try to do our part, and help try, and take care of the kids," said Lt. Josh Hall, Lawton Fire Department.
The firefighters had about $2,000 to spend on the less fortunate. Even though the shopping list is lengthy, they say each child will get a gift in time for Christmas.
Families can pick up the gifts at their local fire station. They should all be delivered by the weekend.
