OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) - An airplane registered to the
U.S. Customs Service has crashed while landing at Will Rogers World
Airport in southwest Oklahoma City.
No serious injuries are reported in Friday morning's crash.
Federal Aviation Administration spokesman Lynn
Lunsford says the Cessna Citation was carrying two people and was
attempting to land when it crashed. Airport spokeswoman Karen Carney
says the pilot did not declare an emergency before the crash at about 10
a.m.
A Customs Service spokeswoman says only that the crash is under investigation.
Emergency Medical Services Authority spokeswoman
Lara O'Leary says one person was hospitalized in good condition while
the second person declined transport to a hospital.
Television images showed the aircraft on its belly in a grassy area just beyond a taxiway at the airport.
