Shoppers preparing for winter weather

LAWTON Okla_ Local grocery stores are filled today with last minute Christmas shoppers preparing for their holiday feasts.

But the aisles are also bustling with folks stocking up for what could be a white Christmas.  Many shoppers learned their lesson a few years ago when the snow and ice kept them indoors for days. This year, they're covering all their bases.

"We stocked up with extra water," shopper Wesley Palmer said. "We had to make sure we have batteries and everything and all the weather ban radio, just in case."

Other shoppers said they've planned for leftovers after their holiday. They say they should last them a week if the winter weather turns severe.
