Fort Sill man dies in highway accident

CACHE Okla_ A member of the Fort Sill family was killed last night in a wreck on Highway 62.

Cache police say a member of the military was traveling westbound just before 11:30 pm Thursday, around 2 miles east of Cache. When he left the road, he crossed the highway into the eastbound lane and hit first one tree and then another. When authorities got there, the pickup truck was on fire.

Police are still investigating how it happened. They haven't released the name of the victim. Fort Sill is notifying next of kin.
