Posted: Updated:

While remembering to stay off your cell phones while driving in Amarillo, motorists might also want to watch out for these lane closures for the week of January 7th through the 13th.

TxDOT crews will close lanes in both directions on US 87 frontage roads from 11th Street to Loop 335 (St. Francis) for crack sealing.

Also, on I-40 from Arnot Road to Loop 335 (Soncy) expect lane closures in both directions for edge work.

As always these lane closures are subject to chance due to weather or emergency events.
