Oklahoma expecting more conservative legislation

Posted: Updated:

Oklahoma GOP leaders in Oklahoma are saying this year may be one of the most conservative ever in the state's history.

The Republican party picked up almost two dozen new members last election.

Party leaders say they expect to see a lot of more conservative legislation this session on hot button social issues like guns, abortion, and immigration.

Some highly conservative measures are already being proposed even with the bill filing deadline two weeks away.
