COMANCHE CO., Okla_ The Comanche County Courthouse Cafe has unexpectedly shut down.
After opening less than five months ago, the owner of Hot Rod and Grits sent a letter of resignation to the Comanche County Commissioners last week. The commissioners announced today it was closed.
The letter said Lynn Wilson is closing the cafe due to some personal hardships. She began moving her belongings out of the cafe last Friday and should be completely moved out tomorrow. The commissioners say technically, the lease- holder is required to give the county 30 days notice to break the lease.
However, under the circumstances, they are allowing Wilson to move on without any legal consequences.
