DPS makes 100-pound pot bust on I-40

Amarillo, TX - Texas DPS troopers found over half-a-million dollars of marijuana during a traffic stop on Interstate 40.

At around 7:30 Tuesday night, troopers pulled over a pick-up carrying a U-Haul near Wildorado.

Inside the trailer, they report finding 100 pounds of marijuana in vacuum-sealed bundles, stashed inside two televisions.

The driver, 34 year-old Marizol Ramirez of Plano, Texas is charged with possession of marijuana.
