Police seek info on home robbery suspects

Amarillo, TX - A woman claims two armed men broke into her Amarillo home while she was there, stole her purse and then fled.

Police need your help locating the suspects involved. Just before 9:00 Tuesday night, officers were called to a home in the 1600 block of North Arthur.

The female victim was home with three children when she says she heard her front door open loudly. She told officers, she then saw two black males standing in the hallway, displaying handguns.

One of the men allegedly held one of the juveniles at gunpoint, while the other suspect demanded money from the woman, threatening to shoot the child if she did not give him her purse.

Both men ran out of the house and into the alley with her purse and cell phone. No one was injured, and no arrests have been made.

If you have any information on this robbery, call Amarillo Crime Stoppers at 374-4400.
