American Durafilm® is excited to announce the launch of its new website. The new website is designed to highlight the four major services and products provided by American Durafilm®; Teflon® and Kapton® film Fabrication; Teflon® and Kapton® film Distribution; Teflon® and other high performance coatings application, and Polyimide Tubing manufacturing. Film fabrication includes heat sealing, thermoforming, and custom packaging solutions made from the highest performance materials. The site provides more visual representation of American Durafilm’s strategic business units and is designed for easy navigation. Updated information on seamless polyimide tubing and sub-assemblies has been added since the company’s acquisition of CMTi.

American Durafilm® Co., Inc. has more than 60 years of experience fabricating high performance films and applying high performance coatings. Founded in 1949 as one of the three original Licensed Industrial Applicators of Teflon® brand coatings, over half a century later, the company remains a leading supplier of DuPont™ ultra high performance films, including Kapton®, Teflon®, and Tefzel®. The company is as well known for its responsive service as for its high quality products, having received numerous awards from commercial and government customers for on-time performance. Major functions of fabrication including heat sealing and assembly work can be performed onsite in the updated ISO 7/Class10000 clean room facility. In addition to the standard inventory of Teflon®, Kapton®, FEP rollcovers, and Tefzel® films, American Durafilm® is the only national stocking distributor of Honeywell industrial PCTFE and Aclar® barrier films. The film thicknesses range from .0005” to .020”, In addition to seamless polyimide tubing in ID sizes ranging from 0.005” up to 6”, the new Tubing Division provides laser machining, cut to length, necking, flaring, tipping, thermoplastic jackets, reflow and subassembly services capabilities.
